Chicken & Egg Sandwich - (Diet Recipe)


This recipe is suitable for everybody who are looking for ways to enjoy good food while dieting. Diet food must not be boring and tasteless.

Who should try this recipe?: Fitness enthusiasts, bodybuilders, athletes and even an average person from all walks of life. 

Ingredients:
3 Slices of whole wheat bread
1 Boiled egg (thinly slice)
1/2 Cup of grilled chicken(sliced or shredded)
1 Cup of Lettuce (sliced)
2 slices of Tomatoes
2 Tbs of plain yogurt lowfat/ fat free (substitute for mayonnaise)
Pinch of pepper

Instruction:
 1. Prepare all the above ingredients. Sliced accordingly especially lettuce,tomatoes, and eggs.

 2. Prepared your own grilled or roasted chicken. Shredd or cut them into pieces.

 3. Placed your whole wheat bread onto the cutting board and apply a layer of yogurt. Yogurt is used in this recipe to replace mayonnaise,as it is low in fat and high in calcium,protein and other vitamins and minerals. Whereas mayonnaise normally high in fat content which is not suitable for diet.

 4. Put the pieces of chicken into your bread.



5. Topped your chicken with veggies  such as lettuce and tomatoes and repeat on the 2nd slice with sliced boiled egg and garnish with veggies as well.

 6. Staked them all together (in no particular order) maybe chicken on the bottom, followed by egg and the top bun.

 7. Take a sharp slicing knife and cut your sandwich crossed into half and quarter as in the picture above.

  8. Lastly, plate your sandwich middle side up or any ways u prefer. And Enjoyyyyyyy!!!



This is my favorite homemade sandwich recipe and it taste soooooo delicious!! but still healthy. You can alter how much egg or chicken you need depending on your protein intake requirement.
